Wowser! Yasss!

Okay, so I wanted to talk about the series I will be doing from next week, then I got a message from this amazing lady, Whitney. Who will reject an award, especially one that comes when you think you don’t deserve it or when you least expected it? I won’t. This things are tiny seeds of joys and blessings in unexpected places.

I cannot express the extraordinary gratitude and appreciation I have for receiving this nomination form Whitney at When I’m with you..

You should definitely check out her blog as it is filled with words that encourages personal growth, spiritual growth and a mix of inspiration and encouragements. I read her blog as often as she publishes a post. You should too.

The sunshine award is given by bloggers to other bloggers who are inspiring, positive, and creative. I am extremely honored to receive this and pass this onto other inspirational bloggers.

The Rules:

Nominees are required to:

  1. Thank the blogger that nominated you and link to their blog.
  2. Answer the questions from the blogger that nominated you.
  3. Nominate 11 bloggers.
  4. Ask your nominees 11 questions.
  5. Post a the sunshine award graphics on your blog.

So, without further ado, lets jump right in,

What’s your inspiration? God inspires me. My dreams and goals inspires me. Fear and Pain sometimes inspires me. Books inspires me. Entrepreneurial stories and history of global brands (how they all started) inspires me.

What is the best thing you’ve done this year?  I started loving and accepting the person I am and the person I am becoming.

If you were to change one thing in your life, what would it be? Ask me this question 10 years ago and I will be screaming my answer on the top of my voice– my childhood, my childhood.. (at least 96% of it.) But I have grown. And I have learned that an important part of personal development is accepting who you are, what has happened and loving all aspects of yourself first before seeking to improve. So, I wouldn’t change anything. Because every experience all combined to make me me. Well except for growth and improvement.

SEE ALSO:  Dear Christian,

What is your safe haven? BOOKS…

What is your favorite meal? Even though I seldom enjoy cooking and I have ‘attending a culinary school in Italy or France to become a chef as one of my life goals’; I’m not much of a food person. I could go a week or more without food and not complain. (Yels…) as long as I have my sweets. I am a sweet tooth– cakes are my favorites. Chocolates too. Ice cream,… all things sweet, fried or baked.

When are you most productive? I am a classic Night Owl.

What do you do in your spare time? Read. Write. Bake. Stare into space and get lost.. (depends on where I am and how long the spare time is..)

What was the most challenging moment in your blogging journey so far? Inner conflicts– self-doubt. I have quit blogging several times and at a time, deleted all of my blogs because I felt I was never good enough or as good as other bloggers I had made friends with.

What super power would you want if you could have one?  I would want the ability to manipulate probability. There is almost nothing I couldn’t do with this.

Would you encourage other people to make their blog and why? Oh yes! There are lots and lots of things you will learn from blogging in just a very short while. (I’ll make a post about this soon.)

Who is your style icon? I am a perfect blend of Kate Middleton and Michelle Obama. I love this women. And in a way I find that I am super refined, classy (still getting there), timeless and very reserved in my wardrobe choices like both of them. And just like them, I rarely or most times don’t jump on passing trends and prefer to stock my wardrobe with staples that will last a lifetime. I always have the appropriate outfit (more like a uniform of basics that I wear consistently) for every occasion. My makeup–very mild, light or natural. Rarely do nails. My style code: it has to be modest, descent, responsible, yet classy and beautiful. I have been watching this women for a long while, and was mostly surprised when a I took 2 style test (one with Popsugar, the other with buzzfeed) and Kate and Michelle emerged as my style icons.
